Letters: Access to rain
Dear Parrots magazine,
Access to rain
When I bought my aviary three years ago, I could not make up may mind whether or not the roof should completely cover the flight, but opted for one that did.
Dear Parrots magazine,
When I bought my aviary three years ago, I could not make up may mind whether or not the roof should completely cover the flight, but opted for one that did.
Dear Parrots magazine,
I am writing in addition to the letters written by David Woodbury and Greg Glendell in last months Parrot’s Magazine regarding the National Parrot Sanctuary.
Dear Parrots magazine,
It is very clear that Malcolm Green is as passionate about improving avian nutrition as I am. I welcome the information he shared, especially since it was different than what my research uncovered. I especially appreciated his perspective of iron storage disease. One key point his letter supports is the fact that we do need more humane research done in the area of avian nutrition - both for each particular species and then refining this to individuals within each species.
Dear Parrots magazine,
I am glad to see that there is more information and persuasion to use natural perching, and is something I have been going on about for years now.
Dear Parrots magazine,
I’m probably going to upset some nest box manufacturers here but just can’t let this go. I have been breeding parrots for just over 30 years and have used many different nest boxes. But most of mine do look as though they are past their sell-by date as they have been chewed and chewed by my breeding pairs.
Dear Parrots magazine,
I am new to parrot keeping and clearly have a great deal to learn, and am astonished at how big the subject of parrots is. Many other people must have come to the same conclusion as I have, that there is so much more to keeping parrots than first thought.
