Obesity is a problem
I always like to read Eb Craven’s column as he has always championed the cause for better food and conditions. His latest column on ‘feeding too much’ really rang a chord with me, as I have been trying to get a friend to change her feeding habits.
She has a Blue-fronted Amazon who she adores, but I fear she may well see to its demise by over feeding. From memory, her Amazon is about 10 years old, but is grossly overweight. Well, I took the last Parrots magazine around to her and was surprised that she read Eb’s article on over-feeding with some intensity. I think the penny may now be dropping, so hope her Amazon is now going to lose some weight and be healthier – fingers crossed!
