Cleaning can be fun
I found the article on cleaning cages very interesting and, particularly, about pressure washing. My husband bought a pressure washer about six months ago to clean our fence and patio of algae, but it never occurred to me that it could be extremely useful to clean our cages.
We also have an outside flight which we use for our two Amazons to enjoy the weather in the summer, but as it is out all year round, it does tend to collect some algae and debris. Now, by using the pressure washer, it has never looked so clean and I am sure next summer the birds will enjoy it even more. The only thing I would add is that some waterproof clothing can prove extremely useful as both my husband and I, although enjoyed the task, got soaking wet!
