Cedric, a Citron-crested Cockatoo presented Paradise Park with a bit of a dilemma, but they obviously under-estimated this multi-tasking female! The story began in September 1993 when our pair of Citron-crested Cockatoos laid their fourth egg. They had destroyed their three previous eggs and the decision was reluctantly taken to remove it for hand-rearing. The egg was hatched, the chick reared, job done, except, we were left with Cedric, a very friendly hand-reared male cockatoo!
