Mariam Panjwani from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire tells us how she and her family decided to buy a parrot, and then grew to love him so much, they ended up with three more!

Two years ago our family, consisting of myself, husband Hussein and daughter Anissa were feeling quite low in spirit having lost our son the previous year. So we decided to get a pet. As my husband suffers from an allergy to pet hair nothing furry would do. So we all said, “Let’s get a bird!”
