WHAT THINGS ARE WE MOST PROUD OF IN OUR BIRDKEEPING?

An open exchange of ideas with aviculturists and bird owners is a wonderful way to acquire knowledge and exchange unique experiences. I could probably recall fifty or more significant discussions with breeders and pet keepers down through the years – dialogues that have left lasting impressions on the way I view my psittacine hobby. Convention luncheons, bird club meetings, online chat groups, telephone consults, even magazine letters pages, are just a few ways we all may exchange ideas.
Something that has always struck me during such conversations is the features others are most proud of in their birdkeeping - what they pride themselves in, from a gentle sort of view when speaking of their facility, the babies in their nursery, the species they own, and so on and so forth.
This article poses the self-inquiry: What things do we boast of in our birdkeeping?
Personally, those factors I originally preferred to talk about concerning my parrots, have changed drastically during the past 15 years!
