Hyacinthine Macaws were always a little more tricky to breed than other macaw species, but we have now come up with a formula that enables the young to flourish. To improve our hand-rearing mixes even further, we are carrying out feed tests for the second season running in the hand-rearing station. To do this we divide the same parrot species into different test groups and feed them different formulas.
