Living with a disabled Jenday Conure

About four years ago, I received an email from a fellow parrot club member asking if I could provide a home for a disabled, three year-old Jenday Conure. This was tempting, as I love conures, and Jendays in particular are very beautiful and social birds. On the other hand, I wasn’t a hundred per cent sure if I wanted another bird, since I already had a few. Additionally, I had never cared for a disabled bird before. Even so, I decided to take this bird on a trial run, to see if she would be happy living with me.
