Feather destruction: Solutions for a male Eclectus

Jackie and Justin had gone to the dog pound looking for a kitten, but instead fell in love with and brought home, two Eclectus parrots, a male and a female, transforming their lives forever.

In the beginning, Alton, the male, was fully feathered, but although Shelly had her wing, head and tail feathers her vibrant red contoured body feathers were gone leaving her grey down exposed.
